Terms of Service
These terms govern the Rise Up social community, Groups, Marketplace and In Search Of, Black Business Finder, direct messaging, and the Hopeless Ro Dating experience.
Account eligibility and responsibility
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and use only accounts you are authorized to control. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Hopeless Ro Dating is for adults age 18 or older and requires acceptance of the separate Dating Terms.
Community conduct
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, discriminate against, defraud or endanger others. Do not post unlawful content, non-consensual intimate material, malware, deceptive links, private personal information without permission, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. By uploading or publishing content, you grant Rise Up a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt for technical delivery and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload.
Marketplace, In Search Of and businesses
Rise Up provides discovery and communication tools; it is not the buyer, seller, employer, payment processor, insurer or guarantor in member transactions. Verify identities, products, services, pricing, licenses and safety before exchanging money or meeting. Never send gift cards, cryptocurrency or money under pressure. Business ownership claims may require private supporting documentation and administrator review.
Messaging, safety and moderation
Use messaging respectfully. Reports, automated safety flags and administrator review may be used to investigate abuse. Rise Up may restrict, hide, remove or preserve content; disable features; suspend accounts; or cooperate with authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement. Blocking controls future access but may not erase records already retained for a report or investigation.
Service availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. Rise Up is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No promise is made that every user, listing, business, match, transaction or message is authentic, suitable, continuously available or error-free.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using Rise Up at any time and may request deletion as described in the Account Deletion Guide. Rise Up may limit or terminate access for violations, safety risks, fraud, legal requirements or misuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, licenses already needed for prior operation, disclaimers and dispute obligations—remain effective after termination.

Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. Before starting a formal dispute, contact itsjosephsapps@gmail.com with the account email and a clear description so the issue can be reviewed.
