This policy explains what Rise Up collects, why it is used, how the shared iOS and web service handles it, and the controls available to you.
Information you provide
Rise Up may store your sign-in information; profile name, private account identifier, photos, bio, city, interests and settings; posts, comments, reactions, Clips and group activity; My Circle relationships; direct messages and message photos; Marketplace and In Search Of listings; business listings, reviews and claim submissions; reports, blocks and deletion requests.
Hopeless Ro Dating uses the same Firebase Authentication account but separates private account information from the public Dating profile. Private Dating account information may include legal name, email, phone number and home ZIP. Public Dating information may include first name, age, city/state, photos, prompts, relationship intentions, Rose Path responses and Date Readiness status. Your exact home address is not published.
Location and media
Features may use location only when you choose to provide it or grant browser permission. Ro Signal stores a deliberately rounded, approximate location zone for nearby discovery while the signal is active. Marketplace and business listings may include the city, state or ZIP you enter. Uploaded photos and videos are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
How information is used
- Authenticate your account and keep iOS and web data synchronized.
- Show content, profiles, listings, nearby discovery and conversations you request.
- Deliver alerts, support moderation, investigate reports and enforce blocks.
- Operate seller ratings, business claims, safety check-ins and deletion workflows.
- Protect the service, diagnose errors and improve reliability.
How information is shared
Information you intentionally publish is visible according to the feature and privacy settings you select. Messages are visible to their participants and may be reviewed by authorized administrators when reported or safety-flagged. Rise Up uses service providers such as Google Firebase for authentication, databases, file storage, hosting, functions and notifications. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect safety and rights, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.
Rise Up does not make your private Hopeless Ro legal name, private phone number, private email or home ZIP part of the public Dating profile.
Retention, deletion and security
Content remains until you delete it, close the relevant feature profile, close your account, or it is removed under moderation and retention rules. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance, backups or dispute handling. Business-claim identity documents follow the configured claim-document retention period after a final decision.
Reasonable safeguards are used, including Firebase security rules and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, keep your devices secure and report suspicious activity promptly.
Your choices
- Edit your profile, privacy, notification and feed settings.
- Delete your posts, listings, groups or other content when the feature permits.
- Block or report users and conversations.
- Turn Ro Signal private and remove your separate Hopeless Ro Dating profile.
- Delete your main Rise Up account from Settings, subject to recent-login verification.

Age and policy changes
You must be old enough to use the service and consent to data processing under the law where you live. Hopeless Ro Dating is strictly limited to adults age 18 or older. This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change; the effective date at the top identifies the current version.
